What is a hosted buyer event?
Hosted buyer events are different from trade shows. Attendance is capped, and buyers and suppliers are hand-selected to ensure the right people are there to help your business needs.
Per the name “hosted buyer,” pre-qualified buyers have their travel expenses covered, including airfare, 3 nights at the host resort, and all event food and beverage during the program.

How do I become a buyer? What are the qualifications?
Potential buyers are asked to fill out an application to assess if they are a good match for the event. Please note that minimum annual spend for accepted guests is $250K. You can complete the Buyer Application here.

How do I become a supplier? What are the qualifications?

Meeting Info
Do I get to choose who I meet with?
Buyers and suppliers submit their business profiles. During a set time period, buyers and suppliers review business profiles and select who they want to meet with. Our algorithm connects buyers and suppliers seeking each others’ business styles and offerings. A schedule is then set based on best matches.
How many meetings will I get?
Each participating delegate is scheduled up to 19 one-to-one meetings over the course of 2 days.
Can I reject meetings that are not relevant?
After schedules are set, meetings will not be accepted or rejected. The final schedule is the one required to adhere to. However, during the selection process, you can select the buyers you most want to visit with.
What is the dress code?
We encourage you to dress in whatever you would normally wear to business meetings, whether that means business casual or athleisure.

Is there Wi-Fi onsite?
Free Wi-Fi for all Sibec guests is available throughout the meeting area. Additional information will be released closer to the event.
